Floor prep is key in achieving a durable, long-lasting epoxy metallic floor. We recommend using diamond tooling to prep before any epoxy goes down. The liquids below are recommended to remove any contaminants or glue that are on your floor.
Diamond pads will do a fantastic job of not only cleaning the floor, but creating the proper profile for your epoxy to stick to your concrete. These pads will go on the bottom of a low speed floor buffer and ran fully wet.
Glu Gone is great at removing yellow carpet glue from concrete floors. Covers up to 150 square feet depending on how thick the glue is.
Super Blue is a penetrating surface renavator that removed any unwanted contaminates in your floor. It is the safe substitute for muriatic acid. Covers 150 square feet per gallon. Divide your total square footage by 150 to determine how many gallons you will need.

Your basecoat will go on at 300 square feet per kit; 100 square feet per gallon. Divide your total square footage of your floor by 300 to determine how many kits you will need, you will tint in the color of your choice below.
Tip: Choose a base color that is close to the main color of the epoxy flake you choose. For example Medium Gray pigment goes well with B-411, B-414, B-127.
The pigment is added to provide a solid background color.
Coverage Rates; If you have 1000 square feet you would need 120 lb's of flakes (5 boxes) flake for full broadcast. Full broadcast is 12% of your square footage (1000 sqft x .12= 120 lb)
High Gloss 100% Solids Clear Epoxy Covers 150 square feet per gallon. Divide your total square footage by 150 to determine how many gallons you will need.

Chip Brush is used to trim the edges of your epoxy floor.

Sanding Screens are used on the bottom of a Swing Machine with a White Pad. Once a coat dries you should go over it lightly with a sanding screen to create proper adhesion of the next coat.
Spike Epoxy Shoes are highly recommended to wear with shoes so that you can walk through your epoxy without having to worry about making prints in your newly poured floor.
Highly Recommended for spreading your epoxy evenly before back rolling.
