Polyurea & Polyaspartic Floor Coatings
Polyurea and polyaspartic floor coatings deliver unmatched protection and performance for garages, shops, warehouses, and commercial spaces. These fast-curing coatings go down in hours — not days — and resist scratches, chemicals, UV yellowing, and hot-tire pickup far better than traditional epoxy.

PRODUCT FAQ's
Polyaspartic is a type of polyurea that’s been modified to give you more working time. It’s UV-stable, fast-curing, and typically used as a topcoat over epoxy or polyurea base coats. It cures in hours rather than days and won’t yellow in sunlight — making it a go-to for garages, warehouses, and commercial spaces. Our Poly 90 is the most popular polyaspartic we sell — low odor, easy to use, and trusted by contractors and DIYers alike
They’re in the same family, but polyaspartic gives you more time to work. Standard polyurea cures almost instantly and needs to be spray-applied by pros. Polyaspartic slows that reaction down to 20–60 minutes of working time, so you can roll it on by hand. That’s why polyaspartic is the better choice for DIY projects. Both cure the same day and hold up in garages, warehouses, and commercial spaces.
For a DIY kit, expect roughly $2–$5 per square foot, depending on coverage area and system type. Our complete polyaspartic kits start around $1,054 for up to 600 sq ft and go up to $4,720 for up to 3,000 sq ft — that includes base coat, flakes, and topcoat. Everything you need in one box.
Polyaspartic cures faster (hours vs days), won’t yellow from UV, and is more flexible than epoxy. Epoxy gives you a longer working time, which some DIYers prefer. The best of both worlds? Many pro systems — including our kits — use an epoxy or polyurea base coat with a polyaspartic topcoat so you get the benefits of each. We break it all down in our polyaspartic vs epoxy guide.
Yes. Polyaspartic bonds well to existing epoxy. The key is surface prep — sand the old epoxy to rough it up, vacuum up the dust, and wipe it down with a solvent or adhesion promoter before rolling on your polyaspartic topcoat.
With proper surface prep and installation, polyaspartic coatings typically last 15–20 years or more. They won’t yellow over time like epoxy, and their chemical and abrasion resistance keeps your floor looking good even in high-traffic garages, warehouses, and commercial spaces.
Most polyaspartic coatings are UV-stable and work well on outdoor concrete, such as patios and pool decks. One thing to keep in mind: they’re not breathable sealers. For exterior stamped concrete, driveways, or sidewalks where moisture vapor needs to escape through the slab, a breathable concrete sealer is the better choice.
Absolutely. Sand the existing surface to rough it up, clean it thoroughly, and apply a fresh polyaspartic topcoat. This works whether you’re going over old polyaspartic or an existing epoxy floor.
