Transform your concrete into a showroom-quality surface with ultimate durability.
Get the legendary durability of a polyaspartic coating with a system designed for even the rookie installer. Our Solid Color Polyaspartic System combines the industrial strength of our top-tier coatings with an application process so straightforward, we call it “Rookie” proof. Whether you are upgrading a garage, a basement, or a shop floor, this system delivers a rich, high-gloss finish that is tough as nails and UV stable.
Why This System?
Forget about complex industrial protocols. We’ve stripped away the confusion while keeping the premium chemistry. This system gives you a deep, opaque solid color finish that won’t yellow, and takes the abuse infinitely more than epoxy.
The Power of Choice: Poly 90 or Poly 85 Slow
We know that every project (and every installer) is different. That’s why this system lets you choose the engine that powers your floor. Both options offer the same incredible durability and UV stability—you just decide the pace.
Choose Poly 90 (The Speedster): Perfect for those who want a One-Day Floor. Poly 90 cures fast, allowing you to apply your coats and get back to service in hours, not days. It’s the favorite of pros who need to get the job done quickly.
Choose Poly 85 Slow (The Stress-Free Solution): Nervous about “messing it up”? Don’t be. Poly 85 Slow is formulated with a generous 45-minute working time. This gives you ample breathing room to mix, pour, squeegee, and roll your floor to perfection without the panic of the coating setting up too fast. It’s the ultimate confidence booster for first-time installers.
Key Benefits
100% UV Stable: Unlike epoxy, our polyaspartic system will never yellow or fade from sunlight. Your gray will stay gray, and your tan will stay tan—forever.
Extreme Durability: Harder and more flexible than standard epoxy. It resists hot tire pickup, road salts, oil, and gas spills.
Easy Application: If you can use a drill mixer, a squeegee, and a roller, you can install this floor.
Professional Finish: Self-leveling properties ensure a smooth, surface that looks great and performs (polyaspartic always has a slight orange peel finish.

Preparation
Surface Prep
The key to success is a surface free from sealers, dirt, oils, glues, and contaminants. The floor needs the proper profile for adhesion.
-
Primary Method: Use a single-headed or planetary grinder with 16 or 30 grit metal bond diamonds. -
Grind DRY with a vacuum.
Critical Warnings
-
NO WATER: Do not use water for prep. Floor and joints must be “bone dry”. -
Repairs: Fix cracks/spalls before prep using Instant Medic Hard.
Apply Base Coat (Poly 90 or Poly 85 Slow)
Mixing Ratio
Drill mix at a 1:1 Ratio.
1 Pigment Pack per 4 Gallons of Poly 90 or Poly 85 Slow.
Application
- • Method: Dip & Roll out of a pan.
- • Tool: ⅜” nap, 18” roller cover.
- • Large Floors: Pour on floor, spread with flat squeegee, immediately backroll.
Coverage
~250
Sq. Ft. Per Gallon
Poly 90 or Poly 85 Slow begins to set faster on the floor than in the bucket.
Apply Top Coat (Poly 90 or Poly 85 Slow)
Wait until base is tack-free
1. Mix Again
Mix Poly 90 or Poly 85 Slow at 1:1 ratio. Use 1 pigment pack per 4 gallons.
+ Add traction additive now if desired.
2. Pour & Squeegee
Pour on floor. Use a flat or small notch (5-7 mil) squeegee.
3. Backroll Immediately
Backroll with ⅜” nap, 18” roller. This prevents roller lines.

My shop is exactly 3,000 sq ft. Should I buy the 3,000 sq ft kit or size up?
We always recommend a 10% buffer. Concrete porosity varies—older or “thirstier” concrete can absorb more base coat than expected. If you have 3,000 sq ft exactly, we recommend stepping up to the next size kit to ensure you don’t run short. Unopened material usually has a shelf life, but running out mid-job is costly and can result in uneven finishes.
Does this kit cover vertical surfaces (or stem walls)?
The coverage rates listed are for flat floor application only. If you plan to coat vertical stem walls or curbs (which we highly recommend for a clean look), you need to calculate that square footage separately and add it to your total. Vertical surfaces often require a slightly different application technique to prevent sagging, as stem walls are more porous and tend to ‘drink’ the product.
Do I need to grind my concrete, or can I acid etch?
For a commercial-grade bond that lasts 10+ years, you must mechanically grind the concrete. Acid etching is not sufficient for high-traffic or industrial environments. We recommend a diamond grind to a CSP-2 or CSP-3 profile. This ensures the epoxy “bites” into the slab for maximum adhesion. This process requires a grinder with metal bond diamonds and a vacuum system. Never apply water to the floor during prep.
How many people do I need to install a 2,000+ sq ft kit?
For kits this size, you should not work alone. We recommend a team of 2-3 people: one person mixing and two people rolling/squeegeeing. These industrial coatings have a specific “pot life” (working time), so moving efficiently with a team ensures a seamless finish without lap lines.
What tools are NOT included in the kit?
This kit provides all the liquids (coating products). It also includes:
- 18-inch rollers and frames (for large areas)
- Notched/Flat squeegees
- Spiked shoes (to walk on wet coating)
- Mixing drill and paddle
What you need to rent: You will need to use a concrete grinder and a vac system to prep the floor. This can be rented from many local rental stores.
How is this kit shipped?
Many of our kits ship out standard ground via UPS or FedEx. However, larger kits (typically over 3,000 sq ft) will ship via Freight Carrier on a pallet due to weight and volume. You will need a commercial address with a dock or a forklift. If delivering to a residential address or a shop without a dock, you must request “Liftgate Service” at checkout.
How long does the floor need to cure before I drive a forklift on it?
Foot traffic is usually safe after 24 hours. For heavy vehicle traffic (forklifts, trucks, cars), we recommend a full cure time of 72 hours to 5 days depending on temperature and humidity. Driving on it too soon can cause tire marking or delamination. Please refer to the specific data sheets for set times, taking into consideration how temperature and humidity will play a role in the curing process.
Is this system suitable for commercial warehouses and hangars?
Yes. This Turnkey Poly System is engineered specifically for high-abuse environments like airplane hangars, automotive shops, and industrial warehouses. It offers superior chemical resistance (gas, oil, hydraulic fluid) and abrasion resistance compared to standard big-box store epoxy kits.
