Acid Stain for Concrete

Acid stain chemically reacts with the minerals in your concrete to create rich, variegated color that won’t chip or peel. Every floor turns out different because every slab has a different mineral makeup — that’s what gives acid-stained concrete its one-of-a-kind look. We carry 13 colors from earthy browns and tans to greens, blues, and blacks. Works on floors, patios, walkways, basements, and more. Not sure which color is right? Try our 13-color sample kit before committing. See our step-by-step acid stain tutorial for the full application process.

Acid stain vs water-based stain: Acid stain creates a natural, mottled marbling effect — the color is permanent and part of the slab. Water-based stains give a more uniform, consistent look with a wider range of colors. Acid stain is the better choice for outdoor concrete. Our acid stain does not require neutralization like many other brands.
